WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR SAMPLE DRESSES IN?

Our store carries sample dresses in bridal sizes 6-28, and our average sample size is 12/14. Bridal sizing does run around two sizes smaller than your street size. However, our consultants are equipped with clips and panels, so our dresses have a lot of flexibility to be tried on by a variety of sizes!

ARE IN-HOUSE ALTERATIONS AVAILABLE?

We have two incredibly talented seamstresses at Lily’s Bridal. We recommend planning for alterations to take approximately three months. It usually takes between 2-3 fittings to get your dress perfect!

 

WHAT ARE THE PRICES OF YOUR GOWNS?

Our gowns start at $1500 and go up to $9000. The bulk of our dresses are $3500 and under. We also have an outlet store, where all the dresses are between $699 and $1499. 

 

WHEN SHOULD I START SHOPPING FOR MY DRESS?

At Lily’s Bridal, we order all of our dresses directly from the designer. They typically take between 6 and 8 months to arrive in-store. We recommend beginning your shopping experience roughly one year before your wedding date, so you have enough time to find your dream dress without having to stress about shipping times!
     

WHAT IF MY WEDDING DATE IS COMING UP QUICKLY?

Don’t worry! We have select styles in store that we are able to receive in a short period of time. We also have an outlet store, where all the dresses can come home with you the same day!

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU CARRY A DRESS I WANT TO TRY ON?

We have a Pinterest page that is updated with all of our current dresses at the salon. If you are curious about the size, color, and price of a dress at our salon, feel free to give us a call!

 

WHAT IF YOU DONT CARRY THE DRESS I WANT TO TRY ON? 

If we carry the designer, we may be able to get select styles from the designer for a short period of time for you to try on in our store. Call us for pricing and availability!

 

DO I HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments are always encouraged! Making an appointment ensures that when you arrive at our store, a consultant and a fitting room will be available to assist you. It also gives time for our consultants to get to know you and the vision you have for your dream dress. You are welcome to walk in and browse our selection of dresses, but trying on dresses without an appointment is not always available as we do book up quickly.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION FEE?

If you would like to cancel your bridal appointment, VIP appointment, or first alterations fitting, please give us a call! If you need to reschedule a follow-up alterations appointment, please contact your seamstress. For standard bridal appointments, we charge a $50  cancellation fee for  for bridal appointments. If you no-call, no-show for an alterations appointment, there is a $25 fee. The $375 charge for a VIP appointment is nonrefundable 2 weeks before the date of your appointment.

ARE ALTERATIONS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE DRESS? 

Alterations are an additional charge to the cost of your dress, as our seamstresses are a separate department. You will get a quote at your first alterations appointment, once our seamstress sees you in your dress and can tell what work needs to be done!

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY ALTERATIONS APPOINTMENT?

Make sure you bring your wedding shoes, so our seamstress can hem and bustle your dress to the right length. If you plan on wearing shapewear, bring that as well, as it alters the amount of work a seamstress may need to do. Once your bustle is done, bring a friend or mobile device to record where to find all of your bustle points!

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

Just bring yourself! No need to worry about a strapless bra or heels – our dresses have built-in cups, and heels can damage the dresses. We find it can be helpful to create a Pinterest board before your appointment with some inspiration pictures of dresses you’re liking so far, and a hair tie wouldn't hurt!
